The image prompt formula, the variation creation process, and the checklist for pre-implementation in media.
AI imagery is suitable for concept exploration, moodboard creation, and rapid variation production. For branding purposes, you'll need a clear brief and manual proofreading before publishing.
Image prompt formula
Describe in order: subject, action, background, composition, camera angle, lighting, color palette, texture, style, and aspect ratio. Add things to avoid at the end if supported by a tool.
Example brief
This illustration depicts a young professional working with an AI assistant in a minimalist studio; wide angle, soft lighting, purple and turquoise color palette, plenty of white space on the left for a title, 3D editorial style, 16:9 aspect ratio.
Creating intentional variations
Each round only changes one element, such as camera angle or color palette. If you change too many elements at once, you won't know which one produces a better result. Save the prompt and the selected version for reuse.
Checklist before publication
Check for misspelled text, unusual hands or objects, incorrect logos, contrast, usage rights, and visibility on small screens. For images containing factual information, reconstruct them using design tools.
