You don't need to learn every algorithm to start using AI effectively. For 30 days, focus on understanding its limitations, communicating clearly, and completing a small, real-world project.
Week 1: Understanding and using responsibly
Learn the concepts of LLM, tokens, context, and hallucination. Each day, try a small task and record what the AI does well, what it does wrong, and which data should not be shared.
Week 2: Practice prompts with real-world tasks.
Choose three recurring tasks such as writing emails, summarizing documents, and planning. Create prompts using a formula for roles, context, tasks, constraints, and formatting. Save good versions to a private library.
Week 3: Build a mini-project
Choose a measurable output: a document-based FAQ assistant, a brief creation tool, or a meeting summary workflow. Divide the project into inputs, processing, outputs, and testing steps.
Week 4: Automation and Evaluation
Connect the steps using no-code or simple code. Measure the time saved, error rate, and number of interventions needed. At the end of the month, rewrite the process so others can use it.
Results after 30 days
You should have a personal prompt library, a project you can demonstrate, and a checklist for evaluating AI output. This is a much better foundation than simply collecting tools.
