Designing the process from idea, brief, draft to publication schedule while maintaining the brand voice.
The goal of content automation isn't to publish as much as possible. The goal is to reduce repetitive tasks while maintaining control over strategy and quality for the content creator.
Input data design
Each idea should have a theme, target audience, channel, goal, main message, CTA, and projected date. Structured data helps AI avoid guesswork and allows you to filter the calendar by campaign.
The steps of the scenario
When an idea reaches the "Ready" state, Make takes the brief and sends it to the AI to create three approaches. The user selects one approach, and the system then generates an outline and draft. The draft is saved with the "Pending Editing" status.
Maintain brand voice
Create a short brand guide including recommended words, words to avoid, sentence length, and examples of correct and incorrect usage. Include this guide in each content creation, but leave the final decision to the editor.
Error handling and costs
Set limits on the number of retries, save error messages, and avoid rerunning the entire workflow if only one step fails. For lengthy content, create an outline first before generating individual sections to better control costs.
